Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Program: MAOF Accounts Payable Department (Los Angeles County) Salary: $18.00 Hourly Openings: 1 Position Status: Full Time Closing Date: Open until filled
will provide competent and effective processing of MAOF’s vendor invoices for payment through the use of MIP Accounting software, maintain an orderly and updated filing of vendor invoices and other related documents, and prepare ad hoc reports related to vendor accounts as requested by the Financial Manager.
High School Diploma or equivalent; AA degree or higher preferred
Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding work related material and make arithmetic computations rapidly and accurately.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees.
Being an effective team player.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers and supervisors; work as part of a team and collaborate with department; and complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are completing requirements and changes in assignments.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap), Measles (MMR) and Influenza (optional).
Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI.
Must provide proof of COVID 19 vaccination or apply for exemption.
