Title: Dining Coordinator Program: MAOF Senior Program (Los Angeles, County) Salary Range: $15.50 Openings: 1 Position Status: Temporary-Part Time Closing Date: Open until filled
Under the direction of the Nutrition Project Supervisor, the Dining Coordinator will coordinate and supervise the delivery and quality of meal service to the Senior Services Program participant.
High school graduate, GED or minimum of two (2) years verifiable work experience in the provision of social services to senior citizens.
Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Ability to relate well to clients and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Good communication skills.
Proven leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and to complete required program records and reports.
Ability to read and write. Basic math skills required.
Valid Certified Food Handler’s Certificate desired or will be required to pass the Certified Food Handler Exam within thirty (30) days of employment.
Must meet State health requirements: Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
Criminal Records (e.g. Livescan Fingerprinting), Child Abuse Index, Sexual Offender Registry. Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Justice Department. Fingerprints clearance must be active and on file with the Justice Department.
Must have a valid California Driver’s License, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
Starting Salary: $15.50 per hour
