To ensure that necessary supportive service documentation is maintained in each child’s file in an orderly, correct and complete manner; and to aide in the provision of social services necessary to permit parents and children to benefit from and to be able to continue participation in the childcare program.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of (1) year completed college related courses.
Minimum of 6 units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish.
Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
Computer literate(Microsoft Word and Excel).
Basic computer skills.
Proper phone etiquette.
Sensitivity and ability to work well with diverse ethnic, religious and cultural groups.
Must have positive attitude with a desire to work with and promote the welfare of children and their families.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished verbally and in writing.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Special Qualifications
Must possess own vehicle, a valid California Driver’s License and appropriate automobile insurance at all times.
Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap), Measles (MMR) and Influenza (optional).
Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI.
