Title: Human Resources Manager Program: MAOF Human Resources Department (Los Angeles County) Salary: $80,000 annual salary Openings: 1 Position Status: Full Time Closing Date: Open until filled
Reporting to CHRO. Assist in strategy planning, employee & dispute resolution, advisory services for employees, prepares & reviews job descriptions, provides policy interpretation, assist with managing the Human Resources Department and staff. Participate in the development & implementation of the organization’s policies & procedures that will contribute to overall success. May represent agency in personnel related hearings and investigations.
BA degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or related field, required.
Minimum five (5) years Human Resources experience.
Minimum two (2) years supervisor experience.
Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate in written and oral English correctly and effectively.
Excellent computer skills
Bilingual English and Spanish, required.
Ability to assure the confidentiality of all information and MAOF personnel records.
Must possess own vehicle at all times, a valid California Driver’s License and appropriate automobile insurance.
Ability to drive and travel.
Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
Must possess own vehicle, a valid California Driver’s License and appropriate automobile insurance at all times.
Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap), Measles (MMR) and Influenza (optional).
Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI.
