The Office Administrator is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Community Development Department to ensure smooth office operations. The Office Administrator supports the mission and operations of the department and provides direct services as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, administration or related field preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Strong leadership and planning abilities.
Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work with staff across multiple departments.
Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, and the public; work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues, and complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
Good public presentation skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and produce work with minimal supervision.
Must possess own vehicle at all times, a valid California Driver’s License and appropriate automobile insurance.
Ability to work Monday through Friday. Based on program needs, must have the ability to work flexible days and hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Department of Justice
