Under the direction of the Payment Processing Manager, the Payment Processing Clerk is responsible to ensure that all childcare providers are paid promptly. Due to the nature of the workflow, the Payment Clerk is required to assist in reviewing data on vouchers against the attendance sheets and/or PPR logs. MAOF has a first come first serve process and is committed to accurately processing the attendance sheets and/or PPR logsand submitting the payment vouchers to the Accounting Department.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent,
Strong mathematical Skills,
10-Key proficient; by touch preferred,
Able to handle high volume of work within the peak periods,
Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in word processing,
Sincere commitment to provide quality service to the public,
Sensitivity and ability to work well with diverse social, ethnic, religious, and cultural groups,
Strong organizational and analytic skills,
Sensitive to the needs of the program and the general public,
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout instructions furnished verbally and in writing,
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Computer literate.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Special Qualifications
Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis(TB) clearance.
Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap), Measles (MMR) and Influenza (optional).
Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI.
Must provide proof of COVID 19 vaccination or apply for exemption.
