Title: Social Service Associate Program: MAOF Child Care/Pre-School Program (Los Angeles County) Salary: $17.65 Hourly Openings: 1 Position Status: Part Time Closing Date: Open until filled
will assist the Child Care Administration with clerical support services as assigned. Social Services Associate will travel to the assigned childcare/pre-school centers to aide in the provision of social services necessary to permit parents and children to benefit from and be able to continue participation in the MAOF childcare program. This staff member will work collaboratively with administration to implement mandated Federal and State guidelines.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience working with families or in the childcare field, preferred.
Must possess great customer service experience.
Ability to communicate, both oral and written
Ability to speak, read and write English well enough to understand and be understood by others.
Ability to relate to diverse groups of people including low-income families.
Sensitive to others needs.
Sincere commitment to providing services to children and the community.
Ability to assess and respond quickly to varied situations.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap), Measles (MMR) and Influenza (optional).
Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI.
Must possess own vehicle, valid California Driver’s License and at minimum, general liability automobile insurance.
Must provide proof of COVID 19 vaccination or apply for exemption.
