The Caseworker Specialist will playa key role in assisting high-need seniors by making referrals to care management programs or adult protective services.
Requirements:
Experience and Education: Minimum 1 year of office experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
Availability: Must work Monday through Friday with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Transportation: Must have own vehicle, valid California Driver’s License, and appropriate insurance.
Professional Representation: Ability to represent MAOF professionally and skillfully.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and relationship-building abilities with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
Independence: Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and skilled in prioritization and project management.
Adaptability: Ability to troubleshoot creatively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines.
Cultural Sensitivity: Experience in delivering culturally mindful services and handling sensitive matters.
Commitment to Excellence: Strong focus on detail and commitment to providing quality service.
Public Speaking: Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
Background Check: Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Department of Justice.
