The Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance Assistant works with the PFCE/ERSEA Coordinator to plan and implement a recruitment plan for the assigned service areas. Determines and verifies the eligibility for the State and Federally funded programs. Selects families that meet the eligibility requirements for the Head Start and State programs. Working in collaboration with the staff, the ERSEA CCTR Office Assistant II ensures a wait list and enrollment is maintained throughout the year. The ERSEA CCTR Office Assistant II supports the coordinator with the monitoring to ensure contractual enrollment requirements are met.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required. Associate of Arts Degree (AA),preferred
Minimum two (2) years of office clerical experience, typing/data entry and two years of paid experience.
Ability to work with families in a compassionate, supportive manner.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written).
Must be a strategic thinker and have the ability to problem solve.
Advanced Computer skills and knowledge of word processing, and spreadsheet (i.e., Word, Excel).
Experience handling sensitive and confidential matters.
Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
