Job Summary
Under the general guidance of the Area Supervisor/Facilities Coordinator, and/ or Designee, Custodial Supervisor and the director of the Center Head Teacher. The custodian sweeps,mops, vacuums, and waxes all center and office floors on a regular basis maintaining a clean and neat appearance. Daily cleans and disinfects the facility and maintains paper supplies. Empties waste baskets daily. Loads and unloads deliveries of food, supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Physical and mental fitness to engage in custodial work.
Minimum of one (1) year custodial work experience.
Must have a valid California driver’s license, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Special Qualifications
Must meet State health requirements, including passing a physical examination as a condition of employment and must provide verification of a TB clearance at the time of employment.
Must provide vaccination records for influenza, pertussis, and measles at the time of employment, annual requirement thereafter.
Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Justice Department. Fingerprints clearance must be active and on file with the Justice Department.
Must have good driving record.
Must be able to work split shift if required.
