The Facilities Technician I plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of the Facilities Department. This position involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including managing records, coordinating maintenance requests, and assisting with logistical arrangements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented,organized, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration, facilities management, or a related field is a plus.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the facilities field, with a strong preference for experience in a non-profit organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,Outlook) and other relevant software.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Skillfully and professionally represent MAOF in a positive light.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team,with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
Work as part of a team and collaborate with co-workers; complete projects under tight deadlines even when competing requirements and assignments change.
Must always possess own vehicle, a valid California Driver’s License, and appropriate automobile insurance.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to5:00 PM. Based on the department’s operational needs, the employee must be ableto work flexible days and hours, including some evenings and weekends, if needed.
Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Department of Justice.
