In case you missed it, February is National Canned Food Month! It was created to reduce the stigmas and misconceptions associated with canned goods. Canned Foods are a popular choice among many of us and deserve to be celebrated. For years, can goods have been a proven method to help those in need, save money at home, and cut down on cooking time by using pre-packaged favorites. Canned products may be used to compliment a range of meals because of such variety and lengthy shelf life. MAOF will accept non-perishables and canned food donations at our headquarters, 401 N. Garfield Ave. Montebello, CA 90640, until February 28th.
Support National Canned Food Month by getting involved and giving back to our local community. We thank you for your incredible generosity!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to AARP, Bank of America, Religious of the Scared Heart of Mary, and SCAN Health Plan for generously supporting Food Bank Programs in Los Angeles for seniors and low-income families. We value each one of our supporters and are grateful for all assistance provided. Donors like you help us fulfill our aim of delivering essential nutrition to underserved residents of our community. With your support we were able to deliver food weekly throughout the entire year. The ongoing pandemic made your support vital in getting food safely into the hands of seniors and low-income families. Your helping hands are invaluable to the foundation, thank you again for joining us in our primary mission to provide for the socio-economic betterment of the Latino community. See our efforts in action on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (or until food supplies last) at the MAOF headquarters, where the foundation hosts a weekly food bank. Please consider donating to the MAOF today so that we can continue our work and serve as many individuals as possible
